Twisted Slab Vase in Speckled White, Handbuilt Stoneware

This sculptural vase is built from overlapping slabs of speckled stoneware that twist around the body like petals folding closed. Each panel has a raw, toasty edge that frames the glossy white glaze, and warm clay speckles show through everywhere the glaze thins. Peek inside and you will find a surprise, a deep speckled green that pools at the bottom.

It looks lovely with trailing dried amaranth, a big bunch of fresh flowers, or standing on its own as a little sculpture on a shelf or table.

Every piece is one of a kind and handbuilt in NYC by Bunzy NYC. The ragged edges, wobbles and fingerprints are all part of the story.
